Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026
Using Lamina
These Terms of Service apply when you access or use Lamina Energy’s website and platform (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.
Workspace Access
Lamina provides tools for organizing and managing information about commercial, industrial, and utility-scale solar arrays, including site configurations, equipment records, and related project data. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service as it develops.
Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity carried out through your account. Keep your account information accurate, use only accounts you are authorized to access, and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. We may restrict or suspend access to protect the Service, its users, or organizational workspaces.
Project Data and Permissions
You retain your rights to the information and materials you submit to the Service (“Your Content”). You are responsible for Your Content and must have the rights and permissions needed to upload and use it. You grant Lamina permission to host, process, display, and transmit Your Content only as needed to operate, secure, and support the Service.
Do not upload content that violates another person’s rights, applicable law, or your organization’s policies. You are also responsible for ensuring that the records you maintain in Lamina are appropriate for your intended use.
Using the Platform Responsibly
You agree not to:
- Use the Service unlawfully or to infringe another person’s rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, workspaces, or systems.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or test the security of the Service without authorization.
- Copy, resell, or make the Service available to others except as permitted by us or your organization.
Service Changes and Support
We work to keep Lamina available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances outside our control. You are responsible for keeping any independent copies of information you need for your operations.
No Engineering or Operational Advice
The Service is an information-management tool. It does not provide engineering, safety, financial, legal, or operational advice, and its records should not be treated as a substitute for qualified review. You are responsible for independently verifying information and decisions relating to the design, construction, maintenance, and operation of any solar installation.
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” These terms do not exclude any guarantee or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limits of Responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, Lamina is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information entered into or relied on through the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Updates to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice, such as posting the revised terms here. Continued use of the Service after updated terms take effect means you accept them. You may stop using the Service at any time; we may suspend or end access if these terms are breached or if we must do so for legal, security, or operational reasons.
